Delhi University hosts large job placement drive - job placement
Admission to the event is free, and participating organisations include SPRIX Japan, Teach for India, Kotak Life, and Muthoot Finance.

On October 7, the University of Delhi’s Central Placement Cell (CPC) will host ‘Avasar 2026′, a placement and internship drive, with over 4,000 students registered and more than 85 organizations set to participate. Organized under the Office of the Dean of Students’ Welfare, the event aims to connect students with job and internship opportunities across various sectors.

The drive will be held from 9 am to 5 pm at the Multipurpose Hall, Gate No. 2, North Campus, and is open to DU students, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students, alumni, and students enrolled with the School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB).

Admission to the event is free, and participating organisations include SPRIX Japan, Teach for India, Kotak Life, and Muthoot Finance. The drive offers internships with monthly stipends of up to ₹60,000, while the highest annual salary package exceeds ₹10 lakh.

Students can directly engage with the participating companies, which may conduct company presentations, interviews, group discussions, screening rounds, and other selection procedures. It is recommended that they review the eligibility criteria, job descriptions, compensation details, and selection requirements for each organisation beforehand.

The university has instructed candidates to bring several updated versions of their CVs and valid identification. They should also attend the drive in formal or professional attire. This initiative by the CPC aims to deepen the university’s ties with employers and provide students with employment options that go beyond their individual college placement processes.
